A Few Photos of Barndominiums built from Our Plans
We sell kits and plans and we do not finish barndominiums. Clients use local remodeling contractors to finish the inside of homes after we ship the kits.
We started blogging new projects - See Our Blog For Home Erecting Photos
Erecting. We sell kits and plans. We do not erect but we do help find erecting crews and we have a long list of crews available.
These are a few recent projects with lessons learned for homeowners building from a kit.
The Quinn Being Built in Arkansas
2024 - Photo from the 3rd party erecting crew installing a Quinn in Arkansas. The home is made from Cold Formed Steel and used standing seam metal roof and special siding.
Homeowner Lesson: The customer picked a special roof color and panel type. When you do this, get a few extra panels because there can be a delay in getting replacement panels if you damage any during installation. We now advise all clients getting special colors or special panel configurations to order a few extra.
The Double D in Missouri
2025 - Photo from the 3rd-party erecting crew installing a Red Iron Double D Barndominium in Missouri. See More about this Missouri Build Here.
Homeowner Lesson: The client hired an erecting crew and paid a large deposit 90 days before he was ready to begin. The Missouri barndo building company he hired went out of business before they started work. We found a Texas crew to travel to the jobsite and do the job. Never pay a large deposit - small deposit to hold a spot on a schedule, and a larger deposit when the crew is on site doing work, usually is safe. Some of our erecting partners don't bill you for the job until they finish a milestone.
The Double D Ranch Being Built in Georgia
The Double D Ranch is one of our most popular and recognizable barndominium kits. This was built outside of Athens, GA. This project had a few hiccups, including the original steel order being wrong - we quickly corrected it and paid for the crew and equipment delays. We rushed new red iron steel to the jobsite, and the job started a week late.

We are not the GC on any of these builds but the crews putting up our kits are sometimes kind enough to send some photos.
