Cold-Formed Steel Home Kits
Our Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) kits are among the most comprehensive building systems we offer. These kits include the full structural frame plus interior walls, sheathing, siding, roofing, windows, and doors, putting most builds at roughly 60–70% complete once erected.
Once the kit is installed, you are typically ready to begin electrical, plumbing, and HVAC rough-ins right away. CFS construction delivers straight walls, consistent tolerances, and strong performance in Kentucky’s climate. For projects that require a structure-only approach, we offer separate galvanized steel kits, which are designed differently from our full CFS systems.
Red Iron Steel Barndominiums
Red Iron steel is a proven choice for barndominiums across Kentucky, especially for larger footprints, wide-open interiors, and garage-forward designs. Most of our plans are available with a weld-up Red Iron steel kit, which is fabricated to match your specific plan and engineered for your local build location.
For buyers who prefer faster erection and reduced on-site welding, bolt-up pre-engineered metal building kits can also be quoted for nearly all of our floor plans. These systems work well throughout Kentucky, from rural farmland and horse properties to larger tracts in Central and Western Kentucky, where clear-span space and structural strength are priorities.
Red Iron barndominiums offer excellent durability, long-term performance, and flexibility for shops, oversized garages, and multi-use living spaces, making them a popular option for Kentucky barndominium builds.
Structural Insulated Panel (SIPs) Kits
Our favorite building system is SIPs. Structural Insulated Panels are approximately 2.5 times stronger than traditional stick-built construction and deliver the highest level of energy efficiency we offer. These prefabricated SIPs kits are precision-manufactured and engineered specifically for your Kentucky zip code.
SIPs perform exceptionally well in Kentucky’s climate, where hot, humid summers and cold winter months demand a tight building envelope. The continuous insulation and airtight construction help reduce heating and cooling costs, improve indoor comfort, and minimize drafts and moisture issues. SIPs kits also install quickly, allowing homes to be dried in fast and protected from weather during construction.
For Kentucky homeowners focused on long-term energy savings, strength, and faster build timelines, SIPs barndominiums are hard to beat.
